I’ve got a confession to make…I have a soft spot in my heart for wrestling. I was a diehard fan as a little kid in the late 80’s and came back around in high school for the Attitude Era. And while I don’t follow like I used to, I do like to watch WWE online from time to time to this day.

Whether you’re a diehard fan (like I once was) looking to gorge on endless content, a casual viewer (like I am now) , or even someone new searching for a WWE Network free trial to get an idea of what this wrestling thing is all about (yes it’s scripted, but who cares?), there are plenty of legal streaming options out there for you. Find them all below in my comprehensive WWE live stream guide.

Get the WWE Network Free Trial and Experience Pay-per-view Live Streams and Endless Content

You simply can’t talk about how to watch the WWE online without first mentioning the WWE Network. Launched on February 24, 2014, and available in the U.S. and many countries across the world, the WWE Network offers a live streaming channel of WWE programming along with a seemingly endless library of WWE, WCW, and ECW on-demand content. The service is only $9.99 per month, and offers a 30-day WWE Network free trial to new subscribers. No commitment.

Here’s a quick look at what sets the WWE Network apart from all other sports streaming networks:

  1. WWE live stream option for all pay-per-views–From Hell in a Cell to Survivor Series to Wrestlemania, the WWE Network allows you to watch every single pay-per-view live at no additional cost (note: you can watch this month’s pay-per-view for free with the WWE Network free trial as a new subscriber).
  2. Extensive on-demand library–Want to watch Wrestlemania III? Okay. Wrestlemania XX? Okay. Or how about that one Bash at the Beach when Hogan turned heel in WCW? Sure thing. How about the greatest ECW pay-per-view ever, Heatwave 1998? Yup. If you can think of it, they probably have it. This includes old Raws, Saturday Night’s Main Events, and more.
  3. WWE Originals–From Total Divas to Tough Enough to The Stone Cold Podcast, you could get sucked into hours and hours of WWE original series. It’s even the exclusive place to watch NXT online.

That’s barely scratching the surface. You really need to try it yourself to get a real idea of just how much content the WWE Network offers. And why not? You can get a WWE Network free trial for 30 days right now if you’ve never subscribed before. Click here and give it a shot for free.

Hulu: Watch WWE Online the Day After it Airs

$39.99 - $43.99

Hulu is one of the most popular streaming services out there. It’s best known for it’s extensive catalogue of popular TV shows, including episodes of hit shows that have recently aired. And in respect to WWE, that’s exactly the case. Hulu carries just about every WWE series you can think of and airs them 24 hours after-the-fact, from Monday Night Raw to Smackdown to NXT. While this doesn’t make it an option for those looking for a WWE live stream, it is a good way to keep up with the current product online, along with all the other TV shows you watch.

Playstation Vue Gives WWE Live Stream Access

Also Great
$44.99 - $79.99
47 - 72

Playstation Vue , a new streaming service created by Sony, allows you to stream a number of popular cable channels over your internet connection without a cable contract. It’s particularly useful to WWE fans because it carries USA and SyFy. That means if you have Playstation Vue, you can get a Monday Night Raw live stream AND a WWE Smackdown live stream each and every week.

However, there are a few downsides to the service. Currently it’s only available in certain major markets including: Los Angeles, Chicago, Dallas, Philadelphia, Miami, NYC, and San Fransisco. So if you live outside of those markets, you can’t get Playstation Vue. You also must have a PS3 or PS4 to stream the program, although there’s speculation that Sony may eventually add support for other streaming devices. And finally, packages start at $49.99 per month, so although there’s no contract, it may not be much cheaper than a cable subscription.

Watch WWE Online with YouTube

Before the WWE Network came along, YouTube was the absolute best way to find classic and obscure WWE matches. And truth be told, there’s still a ton of interesting content available, making it the best free way to watch WWE online. The problem is that it’s all over the place, so there’s not a really easy way to find cool videos if you don’t really know what you’re looking for.

I recommend you start with the official WWE YouTube channel. Here you’ll find exciting clips from recent broadcasts, backstage footage, Top 10 “list” videos, sneak peeks, and more. The channel also runs an exclusive kickoff show before each pay-per-view. From there, you can spend time searching YouTube for various matches. It’s not uncommon to find classic matches in their entirety, although they’re often broken up into multiple videos.

Watch WWE RAW Online and Smackdown After They Air with USA Now (with a Cable Login)

USA has exclusive rights to broadcast one of the most popular shows on all of cable TV, Monday Night Raw. Unfortunately for those looking for legal Raw live streaming options in the U.S., this means you’re out of luck. USA has an app called USA Now, but it doesn’t offer live content (it also requires a cable login). That means the soonest you can legally watch WWE Monday Night Raw online is the day after it airs.

Have a Roku player? As of 12/17/2015, you can now download the USA Now app on your Roku. Learn more about the USA Now app here.

WWE Live Stream: SyFy.com for Smackdown

SyFy secured the rights to broadcast Smackdown starting in 2010 and continues to do so to this day. And if you’re looking for a Smackdown live stream in the US, SyFy holds your only option. True they’re a cable network, but they also allow you to watch their programming live on their website. That means you can catch Smackdown as it airs…with one caveat. You need to log in with your cable username and password. For more information, visit SyFy.com.

Get a WWE Live Stream in the UK with Now TV

While the WWE Network is available in the United Kingdom, you actually have another awesome WWE live stream option that’s not available to Americans–Now TV.

Now TV is a streaming service that allows you to stream all 7 Sky Sports channels live via your internet connection without a contract. Watch WWE online with a month pass, week pass, or even just a day pass.

Since WWE programming comes on the Sky Sports family of channels, that means you can watch all of the WWE’s staple weekly shows live online without having to wait until the next day–including WWE RAW!

Here’s a quick rundown of the most popular WWE programming on Now TV:

  • Live Late Night RAW–Mondays at 7 p.m. on Sky Sports
  • WWE Late Night Smackdown–Fridays at 5:00 p.m. on Sky Sports 2
  • WWE Main Event–Thursdays at 5:00 p.m. on

You’ll also be able to watch NXT, WWE Experience, Superstars, WWE Vintage, and more.

Learn more about Now TV here.

What about Netflix?

Netflix used to have a decent library of WWE pay-per-views and documentaries. Unfortunately, those days are over. About a year after the WWE Network went live, the WWE made the move to remove all programming from Netflix.
