One of the most important parts of any streaming service is having access to the various streaming devices you use. It’s one of the benefits to cord cutting. You’re not only saving money but you can watch TV when and where you want. Sling TV is one of the first streaming services and they offer plenty of ways to watch TV. Here we’re going to talk about how you can watch Sling TV on Xbox One.
At this point, considering you’re here reading this, I’m going to assume you know what Sling TV is. If not, here’s a little refresher.

Now that you know a little more about Sling TV, let’s look at how you watch Sling TV on Xbox. First things first, you’ll need an Xbox One. You won’t be able to watch Sling TV on Xbox 360 or older models.
Step 1 – Become a Sling TV Member
If you’re not a Sling TV member yet, it’s a good place to start. If you want to watch Sling TV on Xbox, you will need to be a subscriber. When you visit the website, you can sign up for your free trial and choose the membership level you want along with any add-ons. This not only ensures you’ll be ready to sign in on Sling TV on Xbox One, but it removes the need to have to sign up later.
Step 2 – Turn on Your Xbox One and Visit the Store
Once you’ve turned on your Xbox One and you’re on the Home Screen, you’ll need to scroll to the right to get to the Store and then you’ll want to select Apps. As the app store opens you can then choose the option, “Browse all Apps.”
Step 3 – Click Search to Find Xbox
When you’re in the Browse App section click Search at the top of the section and search for Sling TV. Clicking on the Sling TV app that comes up will help to open it, which you’ll need to do if you want to get to the point where you can watch Sling TV on Xbox One.
Step 4 – Install Sling TV
On the Sling TV app page, you’ll notice a blue Install button. You’ll want to click that to start the installation process. Once the installation is done you’ll see the Install button change to “Launch.” With that, it’s time to open Sling TV on Xbox One.
Step 5 – Watch and Have Fun!
If you skipped the step about signing up, you’ll have another chance to do so when your Sling TV app loads. At that point you’ll either need to sign in or sign up. After that all you need to do is find something to watch and with all that Sling TV has to offer, that shouldn’t be a problem!
